• Location – close to Target, HyVee (Dodge), Walmart, Lowes, & other eating establishments
• Great neighbors
• Close to Valentine Park to take kids or walk
• Plenty of space for family to spread out, but includes great areas for larger gatherings as well (kitchen and great room, backyard)
• 2 laundry rooms, room for his/hers office space, great workout area in the basement

What made you buy this home?

• We moved back to Dubuque to raise our family. Great neighborhood close to our family and where we grew up.
• When our kids were small, we liked having everyone on the same level and upstairs and out of the way for naps/ bedtime etc.
• Fantastic location

If you were to stay in the home, is there anything you would change or add?

• If we were staying in the home we would probably paint the staircase and the oak trim to fit our personal preferences. There is nothing else we would change; we only moved because we wanted to be out in the country.

• We moved to our dream home in the country!

What updates/improvements have you made since you've owned this home?

• Moved the master bedroom to main floor

• Lots of room for a big family or a family that needs more room.
• It was ideal for a large family—every child had a room and bathroom, and not having to haul laundry up and downstairs was a huge advantage in a two story home.
• The neighborhood is great. We left behind some lifelong friends when we moved, and it is a nice balance of all sorts of families—young children, high schoolers, retirees, families without children. It’s a really friendly place. We have had neighborhood picnics and Halloween parties and football parties. Lots of kids around to play with, babysitters in the neighborhood etc.
• Location location location. Being 5 minutes from Walmart, Target, Hyvee, and church was an advantage I really miss.
